In the august presence of world-renowned Grammy winner Sitar Ustad Pandit Ravi Shankar, the school hosted a cultural event under the aegis of Spic Macay. The event took place on Feb 17, 2010. Spic Macay’s students and teachers were also present. Spic Macay is celebrating Fest 2010 by involving several schools of Delhi. This programme was a part of the same festival.

Pt. Ravi Shankar’s presence was extremely motivating for the students. They interacted with the legend and learned rare things about him and his art. He gave the lec-dem to them. He along with his disciples performed raga and taal which mesmerised everyone. The students also performed a Bharatnatyam dance which was praised by the sitar maestro. School principal Lata Vaidyanathan thanked Pt. Ravi Shanker in the most eloquent words. She also handed mementos to teachers. The vote of thanks was proposed by her.
