St. George school is committed to protect environment by inspiring its students to participate in various eco-friendly projects and services and turning its campus green and energy-efficient. Its 5-finger rule includes refuse plastic, recycle, reduce use of plastic and fuels, renew energy and reuse waste. Here, teachers carry jute bags and campus has a pit and a water harvesting facility for half a lakh litres. It is also planning to set up a solar panel for generating power.

Evergreen Public School has involved its students to clean and save Yamuna river. Some of its suggestions include no bathing of cattle, sanitation in the slum areas, stopping industry development near and river and treating sewerage before discharging it into the river. The school has adopted a park closer to the river and now uses vermin composting technique in school campus. Students are taught to use two dustbins – biodegradable and non-biodegradable.
